Standard gas on the cylinder material requirements

To ensure the stability of the standard gas, it is necessary to consider the influence of the gas cylinder material on the mixed gas, and the gas cannot be adsorbed or oxidized. The quantity value must be stable and reliable within the effective period. The effective period of the standard gas is generally one year. Most of the major standard gases can be filled with steel cylinders, but the trace standard gases such as TRACE CO, CO2, NO and SO2 should be filled with aluminum alloy cylinders. For standard gases containing corrosive components such as SO2, H2S, NO, NO2, CL2, NH3 and PH3, and the content is less than 10ppm, the inner coating cylinder should be used for filling and the period of validity is 3-6 months. Standard gas containing CO and CO2 and standard gas containing HF, HCl, CHCl3 and other halogenated hydrocarbons should also be used aluminum alloy bottles.

Cylinder specifications are usually 2 l, 4 l, 8 l, 40 l seamless high-pressure cylinders; Material: steel, aluminum alloy, internal coating of carbon steel three; Cylinder valves for standard mixtures of corrosive and reactive gases, such as NO2, Cl2, NH3 and H2S, are stainless steel valves.

There are also imported cylinders for the preparation of standard gases with high activity and low concentration, such as SO2, H2S, NO, NO2, CL2, NH3 and PH3. The inner wall of imported gas cylinder is processed by special process, smooth and compact, bright as mirror, reducing adsorption, making the stability of standard gas far longer than that of standard gas prepared with domestic coating bottle, suitable for imported instruments and high requirements of the use of occasions. The specifications of imported gas cylinders include disposable low-pressure aluminum bottles with a volume of 1.7L, gas filling 58L (3.5mpa), and 4L high-pressure aluminum bottles, which can be used repeatedly.
