Inhalation: simple asphyxiation. Argon is non-toxic but may cause asphyxiation due to the replacement of oxygen in the air. Hypoxia can cause a series of injuries or death.

Exposure to an oxygen content of 8-10% or less will cause people to quickly become unable to help themselves and unconsciously lose consciousness
