Procedure for correct charging of argon gas

I. Preparation before filling

1. Make sure the pump, gasifier, filling fixture, valve and piping system are in good condition, and the pressure gauge and safety valve are in normal, sensitive and reliable condition.

2. Argon gas filled bottles shall be checked before filling to meet the requirements of filling specifications.

3. Confirm that the nominal working pressure, medium and color of argon gas bottle are consistent with the filling pressure and medium, and within the effective service cycle.

4. Argon cylinders should have a residual gas of more than 0.05Mpa. The cylinders without residual gas must be heated, vacuumed and replaced before they can be filled. 2.1 Connect the bottles to be filled with clamps, open the bottle valves and branch valves one by one, and check whether there is leakage.

II. Filling process

1. Open the inlet valve, precooling valve and return valve of the pump to precool the pump. When the residual air exhaust of the outlet pipe of the precooling valve is full of liquid, start the pump. Gradually close the precooling valve and open the outlet valve of the pump (the pump has a rhythmic knocking sound, otherwise it should be re-precooled) to carry out the filling operation.

2. The temperature rise of argon cylinders shall be checked one by one before the filling pressure is 5MPa. If the temperature rise is too high, the filling of the cylinders shall be terminated and properly disposed of. For non-temperature-rising cylinders, exit the cylinder and check the cylinder valve, troubleshoot and refill. 5 It is forbidden to insert empty bottles after the filling pressure reaches 1.5MPa.

3. During filling, the filling speed should be controlled, and the filling time of each group of argon bottles should not be less than 30min. Note that the outlet temperature of the gasifier should not be lower than 0℃ during filling.

III. End of charging

1. Check whether the valve and body of the bottle are leaking one by one, and handle them properly.

2. After filling, the filling record should be carefully filled and signed for future reference.

3. Filling labels and warning labels should be affixed to qualified cylinders.

4. If argon gas filling is finished, the inlet valve and return valve of the pump should be closed, the precooling valve should be opened to discharge liquid and relieve pressure, and the pump operation should be stopped. Confirm that there is no liquid or gas in the outlet line of the precooling valve, close the precooling valve.

The specific argon gas charging process basically covers these contents, I hope it will be helpful for you to understand.
