Definition and storage of ultrapure nitrogen

High purity nitrogen is a kind of chemical, high purity nitrogen is dangerous or quite large, inhalation will reduce the partial pressure of oxygen, causing hypoxia and asphyxia. Inhalation of nitrogen concentration is not too high will appear chest tightness, shortness of breath, weakness; Then there is restlessness, high excitement, running wildly, yelling, being in a trance, and walking too unsteadily. Inhaled nitrogen concentration is high, patients can quickly appear coma, respiratory cardiac arrest and death. So it's good for everyone to know something about it, and you can improve your knowledge accordingly.

Ultra-high purity gases such as ultra-high purity nitrogen are generally used as protective gas and carrier gas in the manufacture of integrated circuits, semiconductors and electrical vacuum devices, carrier gas in chemical vapor deposition, carrier gas in liquid diffusion source, and protective gas for devices in high-temperature diffusion furnace.

UHPN is used as a gas for displacement, drying, storage and transportation in epitaxy, lithography, cleaning and evaporation. Nitrogen purity is required to be above 99.99% in the manufacture of kinescope tubes. In aerospace technology, the liquid hydrogen filling system must be first replaced with UHPN and then with UHPN.

For ultra-pure gases, any slight pollution will seriously affect the quality of the gas, so the gas storage and transportation process of clean and high sealing is particularly important. Ultra-pure gas is mainly stored and transported in high-pressure cylinders or low-temperature liquefied gas containers.

High pressure cylinder is solid and durable, flexible in transportation and use, no gas loss, but the gas purity and stability is poor; Low temperature liquefied gas container has a large storage capacity per unit volume, but it has gas emission loss.
