Gas cylinder explosion

In recent years, there are a lot of accidents caused by gas cylinder explosion in China. The main reasons are as follows:

(1) The cylinder filling unit failed to detect the residual gas in the cylinder before filling according to the provisions, resulting in chemical reaction between the residual material in the cylinder and the filled gas, resulting in explosion.

(2) The acetone in the cylinder filled with acetylene is seriously insufficient, causing the explosion. The so-called dissolved acetylene, is acetone as a solvent, under a certain pressure, acetylene gas filled and dissolved in acetone. When used, the acetylene dissolved in acetone is released by decompression. If solvent acetone is insufficient, not only the amount of acetylene dissolved is small, but also the cylinder pressure is increased because of less solvent, so that the process of transportation and use is prone to explosion.

(3) The cylinder overfills and causes an explosion.

(4) The mixed use of gas cylinders caused an explosion.
