The process of making dry ice

Dry ice is now used for a variety of purposes, from putting out fires to stage sprays to cleaning stains. But you know how dry ice is made? What are its production techniques?

Dry ice

1. First, liquid carbon dioxide is injected into a proprietary container, which is equipped with a forced heat sink and a container with good heat dissipation performance.

2. Put the container containing carbon dioxide into the initial cooling chamber for pre-cooling at a temperature of -10℃ ~ -20℃, and place it for 10 ~ 20 minutes.

3. Cooled carbon dioxide is forced to be cooled at -80℃ ~ -120℃ and the cooling time is 20 ~ 30 minutes.

4, after cooling in the container into crystal dry ice.

5. Enter the demoulding room and slightly heat up for demoulding.

6. After stripping, the crystal dry ice with high density is obtained.

Of course, the dry ice form produced by this process is not suitable for any industry. Different industries use different dry ice forms, and the production process is also different.
