The difference between halogen lamp and xenon lamp

Xenon is a versatile gas, widely used in xenon headlamps and other industries, such as xenon headlamps, so what is the difference between halogen headlamps and xenon headlamps in the market?

A tungsten lamp filled with halogen elements or halves such as bromoiodine is called a halogen or halogen lamp. It is the new generation of incandescent lamps. To improve the luminous efficiency of incandescent lamps, it is necessary to increase the temperature of tungsten wire, which will lead to the evaporation of tungsten and make the glass shell black. In incandescent lamps, halogen elements or halves are filled in, and the principle of halogen tungsten circulation can be used to eliminate the blackening phenomenon of the glass shell of incandescent lamps. That's where the halogen lamps come from. However, to ensure the normal circulation of tungsten halogen, the glass case size must be greatly reduced to improve the temperature of the glass case (generally, the glass case temperature of tungsten iodide lamp is 250-600℃, and the glass case temperature of tungsten bromide lamp is 200-1100℃), so that the tungsten halogen in the lamp is in the gaseous state. Therefore, the glass case of halogen lamp must be made of quartz glass with high temperature resistance, and mechanical strength.

Its structure has a double — ended straight pipe, a single — ended cylindrical and reflective shape. Halogen lamps are often called quartz lamps due to the use of quartz glass as glass case. Reflecting halogen lamp with a reflection cup, also known as cup lamp. Xenon headlamps: Xenon headlamps, also known as HID gas discharge headlamps, use high-pressure xenon gas wrapped in a quartz tube instead of the traditional tungsten filament to provide higher color temperature and more concentrated lighting. Since xenon lamp USES high voltage current to activate xenon gas and form an arc, it can continuously discharge light between two electrodes. The xenon lamp only needs 35 watts, a reduction of nearly one time. Xenon lamps can significantly reduce the burden of vehicle electrical system. The color temperature of auto xenon lamp is between 4000K and 6000K, which is much higher than ordinary car headlamp bulb. Its brightness is high, the light color of xenon gas lamp is white because the color temperature is higher, the visual effect is a close.
