Commonly used medical laser gas type

1.Helium-neon laser

He-ne laser is one of the earliest used, longest life and cheapest lasers in China. The cavity is filled with 9:1 helium-neon gas. Neon is the laser working material, and helium is the auxiliary gas. He NE laser can be used as light needle instead of millimeter needle in medicine. It can treat all indications of millimeter needle. It can also be used for radiation physiotherapy and relieving pruritic pain.

2.Carbon dioxide laser

Carbon dioxide laser is the laser with the highest conversion rate, the most widely used and the largest continuous output power. Medical commonly used cavity type, sealed, single tube type, low pressure, direct current longitudinal excitation, continuous operation of the laser. The enclosed tube is filled with carbon dioxide, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen and xenon gas, among which carbon dioxide is the working gas generated by laser radiation, and the rest is the auxiliary gas. Carbon dioxide laser can be used as laser scalpel for cutting, vaporizing and solidification after focusing with germanium mirror.

3.Argon ion laser

Argon ion laser is similar to external cavity helium neon laser, which is used in the treatment of eye vascular lesions. At the same time, as a laser scalpel, argon ion laser has strong penetration on skin and light-colored tissue, and the hemostatic effect is better than carbon dioxide laser, which has special effect on the treatment of hemangioma.

4.Nitrogen molecular laser

Nitrogen molecular laser is a kind of molecular gas laser with near ultraviolet wavelength of 337.1nm pulsed operation, and its three-level system is different. At present, nitrogen molecular laser is mainly used to explore the early diagnosis of tumor and drug treatment of vitiligo.

Medical laser plays a special role in suturing, drilling, cutting, hemostasis, sealing, vaporization and cell photothermal effect, which other medical instruments do not have. All kinds of gas as laser blood, to ensure the quality of gas is very important.
