Lung function tests for mixed gases

Our lungs provide us with a constant supply of oxygen. Without oxygen, we can only live for a few minutes. Production requires continuous supply of oxygen from the environment. Lung function test is mainly used to know whether the respiratory system is damaged or not and how it is damaged. The measured patients can detect various pathological indicators of the lung by detecting mixed gases through respiratory and lung function.

Different detection items need to use different pulmonary function mixed gases. The commonly used pulmonary function mixed gases include 0.3% carbon monoxide, 10% helium and 21% oxygen, and the remaining gas is nitrogen. You have 0.3% carbon monoxide plus 0.3% neon plus 21% oxygen, and the rest is nitrogen.

For the reactivity test with high CARBON dioxide, it is necessary to breathe the lung function mixed gas containing 7% carbon dioxide +50% oxygen, and the remaining gas is nitrogen. For the reactivity test with low oxygen, it is necessary to breathe 22% oxygen +7% carbon dioxide, and nitrogen is the balanced lung function mixed gas.
